Cuirassed bust of Louis XIV on the right., A round shield of France within a cross of eight crowned Ls, flanked by four lilies., A very interesting specimen, on which it is possible to trace several reformations! In order, a first reformation to 8L on an unknown type is visible by the remainder of the legend IMP★, then we note a reformation to palms visible by a piece of palm and a probable date 1693 or 1695, then another reformation to the insignes, clearly visible with a remainder of cuirass and especially a sceptre fleurdelisé, as well as the trefoil, to finish finally reformed to 8L second type, for which we can unfortunately read neither date, nor mint.
