Authenticity of offered numismatic items

a)     All numismatic items sold by Germania Inferior Numismatics (GIN) are guaranteed to be authentic, unless specifically stated otherwise.

b)     If, despite the guarantee stated under a), a sold item turns out not to be genuine, this item may be returned to Germania Inferior Numismatics for a full refund of the purchase price (so not the shipping costs) of said item. This refund will be given upon the safe arrival of a returned item. The customer is responsible for the safe return shipment of said item to Germania Inferior Numismatics and has to cover the shipment costs himself/herself. Returned items have to be unaltered and in the same condition as was the case at the moment of sale and delivery by Germania Inferior Numismatics.  

General terms

c)     The title of a sold item will not pass to the buyer until full payment has been received.

d)    All items offered for sale by Germania Inferior Numismatics are subject to prior sale. Germania Inferior Numismatics strives to remove listings from already sold items as soon as possible. In case a customer buys an item from Germania Inferior Numismatics that turn out to have been already sold, Germania Inferior Numismatics will inform the customer a.s.a.p.

Payment options

e)    Items bought from Germania Inferior Numismatics may be paid for by means of a bank transfer or via Paypal. Payment details will be given to customers on their invoice(s).

f)      A payment via bank transfer (IBAN/BIC) is free of charge for residents of the EU. Customers from outside the EU wishing to pay via bank transfer are asked to add a surcharge of €10,- to cover bank charges.

g)     Payment is expected within 14 days after the customer has placed his/her order, unless otherwise agreed upon/discussed. If no payment has been received within these 14 days, the order will be canceled and the coin(s) will be re-offered in our shop.

h)     Germania Inferior Numismatics holds the right to refuse a payment via Paypal for high value orders or if the shipping destination is deemed to be a high risk destination (i.e. a destination where the chance of the item(s) getting lost either in the mail or by other causes is considered to be high). If this is the case, the buyer will be notified about this.

Shipping

i)Sold item(s) will only be shipped out to the customer when payment for said item(s) has been received by Germania Inferior Numismatics.

j)Germania Inferior Numismatics strives to have paid for items shipped out to the customer within 2 working days.

k)Germania Inferior Numismatics has no control over the postal office/couriers and the speed with which parcels are handled by the postal office and/or couriers. Germania Inferior Numismatics can thus not be held responsible for long(er) shipping times, if this occurs due to circumstances.

l)Shipment of items to destinations that are deemed high risk destinations, as also stated under g), shall only be done via FedEx for security reasons. Germania Inferior shall contact customers about this if this is the case.

Shipping options and costs

o) Sold items will be shipped via tracked registered shipping (via Post or courier service DHL Express / FedEx) only for extra security.

Returns

p) Customers may return an item on a no questions asked basis within 30 days after he/she has received the acquired item, provided that the item has not been altered in any way and is in the same conditions as it was on the moment of sale/shipment by Germania Inferior Numismatics. Germania Inferior Numismatics will refund the purchase price of said item once the returned item has been received and checked on any alterations.

Legal issues

q) Any legal action or claim against Germania Inferior Numismatics shall only be brought in a court sitting in The Hague and shall be governed and subject to the provisions of Dutch Law.
