UNIQUE! Germany, Third Reich 1934 NSDAP Hitler Medal Obverse and Reverse Hubs (Positive Image). Colbert-Hyder C-62; Kienast-494. By K. Goetz. Issued on the occasion of the abolition of the German states by Adolf Hitler on January 30, 1934. Kienast notes that this type was issued in 36 mm (silver), 60 mm (bronze) and 127 mm (cast bronze). The obverse has some light rust in the right field that could be removed easily. The K-494 medals are quite rare and valuable: Kunker sold a 36 mm Silver example in 2019 for $1,074 hammer. Super rare!
