Obverse: Bust of Reinhart Falck (1776–1843) facing right. Surrounding inscription: "REINHART FALCK ACAD. BRUX. ET INSTIT. AMSTEL. SOC. A B REG. BATAVOR. AD BELGAR. REG. LEGAT." (Reinhart Falck, member of the Brussels Academy and Amsterdam Institute, envoy of the Batavian Republic to the Belgians).
Reverse: Seated winged figure of History, writing the name "Falck" in a book. Latin legend: "QUOD SUI MEMOR BELGIUM FECIT MERENDO" (Because Belgium, mindful of him, rewarded merit). In exergue: birth and death dates and places: "NAT. TRAJ. AD RHEN. MART. XIX MDCCLXVII – OB. BRUX. MART. XVI MDCCCXLIII" (Born Utrecht, 19 March 1767 – Died Brussels, 16 March 1843).
