NGC MS 64. MINT ERROR

OFF-CENTER - misaligned die on obverse.

Even with this type of 5 Mark of the King Otto of Bavaria (1886-1913), 1911, for 90-th Birthday of the Prince-Regent Luitpold being quite common and popular on market, this particular coin is a very interesting because it has misaligned die on obverse with off-center strike as a result. despite being pretty common mint error in old thalers with a development of the minting technique this type of error is rarely seen in later Kaiserreich coinage. This is a very rare find and very interesting piece for the collectors!! Otherwise pristine clear uncirculated gem from a first strike, proof like fields, more preserved on reverse and sharp details. Perfect collectible and investment item!!
