We are offering so-called Medallic Taler of Baptism (Tauftaler). Those type of broad talers were ceremonial coins for the Baptismal events and never were used in circulation. Because of the prominent religious design those gorgeous coins were heavily used as a religious relics and it is a really hard to find one in high grade - most of the coins seen on market are wearing signs of handling. This particular coin was awarded MS 61 for nicely preserved sharp strike with highly reflective fields and almost no sign of the wear. Cabinet patina attenuates aging beauty and creates very appealing look for any collectors! Very interesting historical and religious piece!
