Very RARE and LOW MINTAGE Commemorative Taler of George V of Hannover (1851-1866), 1865 - for the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Union of the East Frisia and Hannover. One-year issue. This type of taler you rarely can see on auctions with high grade as well as the population of certified coins quite dismal especially in MS. This particular coin has highly reflective fields, more prominent on reverse, sharp uncirculated details and very appealing appearance. Spotted gunmetal patina creates some sophisticated look but possible covers some handling marks and minor scratches - either way graded as MS 63 by PCGS and one of the single MS-graded specimens! Great and RARE collectible - perfect coin from any perspectives!!
