Rama V, also known as King Chulalongkorn, was the fifth monarch of the Chakri dynasty in Thailand. He reigned from 1868 until his death in 1910. Rama V is primarily recognized for his efforts to modernize Thailand and for initiating significant reforms in the country during his reign.
