This banknote, with a face value of 2000 rupiah, was issued by Indonesia in 2022. It measures 126 mm long and 65 mm wide.

The obverse of the banknote features several graphic and textual elements. It includes a representation of the Champak flower, as well as a portrait of Mohammad Husni Thamrin. A map of Indonesia is also visible, as well as the country's coat of arms. The issuing bank's logo is integrated as a verification device. The inscriptions include the face value "2000", the mention "NEGARA KESATUAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA" (the United States of the Republic of Indonesia), the titles of "GUBERNUR BANK INDONESIA" (Governor of the Bank of Indonesia) and "MENTERI KEUANGAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA" (Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia), the name of Mohammad Hoesni Thamrin, and the mention "DUA RIBU RUPIAH" (two thousand rupiah).

The reverse of the banknote features the bank's logo, as well as a landscape of Ngarai Sianok (Sianok Canyon), located near Bukittinggi, in western Sumatra. There is also a representation of the champak flower (Magnolia champaca), as well as a Tari Piring dancer (dancer with plates). The inscriptions include the face value "2000", the mention "BANK INDONESIA", the name "NGARAI SIANOK", the phrase "DENGAN RAHMAT TUHAN YANG MAHA ESA, NEGARA KESATUAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA MENGELLIARKAN RUPIAH SEBAGAN ALAT PEMBAYARAN YANG SAH DENGAN NILAI DUA RIBU RUPIAH" (By the grace of Almighty God, the United States of the Republic of Indonesia has issued the rupiah as a legal payment instrument with a value of two thousand rupiah), the mention "EMISI 2022" (emission 2022) and "PERURI TC 2022".
