The 10 Rupee banknote from Nepal, issued in 2020, features distinct visual characteristics on both sides.

On the front, the banknote highlights Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain, symbolizing Nepal's geography and national pride. It also includes a representation of Changunarayan, a manifestation of Vishnu, riding Garuda, a mythological creature half-man, half-bird. A "Window" type watermark is incorporated into the design, adding a security measure and an aesthetic element. The inscription "10" appears in Nepali on the top left and in English on the top right. The mention "NEPAL RASTRA BANK" is printed, identifying the issuing institution. The face value, "RUPEES TEN", is indicated in English.
