This banknote, issued by Brazil, has a face value of 200 cruzeiros. Dating from 1990, it bears the series A-064.
On the front of the banknote, there is a symbolic effigy of the Republic, represented as a sculpture. An engraving symbolizes the meeting of republican ideals, featuring historical figures such as Silva Jardim, Benjamim Constant, Marshal Deodoro da Fonseca and Quintino Bocaiúva.
A rectangular stamp, indicating the value of "200 Cruzeiros", is affixed to the banknote. The following inscriptions appear on it: "BANCO CENTRAL DO BRASIL 200", "200 CRUZEIROS", "CASA DA MOEDA DO BRASIL", "REPÚBLICA I CENTENÁRIO", "DEUS SEJA LOUVADO", "MINISTRA DA ECONOMIA, FAZENDA E PLANEJAMENTO", "PRESIDENTE DO BANCO CENTRAL DO BRASIL", and "200 duzentos cruzados novos".
The back of the banknote features a detail from the painting "Pátria" by the painter Pedro Bruno (1888-1949). This detail highlights a Brazilian flag embroidered within a family scene. The banknote's watermark reproduces the effigy of the Republic.
The dimensions of this banknote are 140 mm in length and 65 mm in width.
