Songket patterns, a traditional Malay fabric, are also present. It should be noted that banknotes from lower series may have brighter colors, suggesting a possible printing variation.
On the reverse, we find the logo of the Central Bank of Malaysia, representing the Kijang Emas, a Malaysian barking deer (Muntiacus muntjak). The illustration also includes rhinoceros hornbill birds (Buceros rhinoceros), an iconic species of Malaysian fauna.
