Pièce France 10 euros Silver 2025 BE ( belle épreuve)

This collector's coin commemorates the 85th anniversary of the animated film Pinocchio, produced by Walt Disney Studios. The issue is dated 2025.

The coin has a face value of 10 euros and is struck in colored silver. It depicts Pinocchio, the wooden puppet animated by the Blue Fairy. The tale of Pinocchio explores themes of morality, truth, and transformation. Pinocchio, guided by his conscience, Jiminy Cricket, learns to distinguish between right and wrong. His adventures take him from school to a puppet show, then to Pleasure Island, where he faces the consequences of his choices.

Pinocchio's difficulty in telling the truth is symbolized by his nose, which grows longer with each lie. His love for Geppetto, his creator and father, drives him to an ultimate act of bravery: saving Geppetto from a whale. This selfless sacrifice demonstrates his worth and leads to his transformation into a real boy by the Blue Fairy.

The coin weighs 22.2 grams and has a diameter of 37 millimeters. The mint is not specified, nor is the exact silver content. The mintage of this commemorative edition is also unspecified. The coin's aesthetic highlights the vibrant colors and details of the character Pinocchio, paying tribute to Disney's classic work.
