1. All items are guaranteed to be genuine.

2. Prices include shipping fees. Prices do not include any duties, taxes or other import customs fees. Import customs procedure is the sole responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed.

Shipping is typically via registered post for orders under €1000, and by FedEx for all orders over €1000. If we or you require another courier to be used, shipping fees may apply.

Typically, items will be dispatched within a week of payment. However, we may dispatch items later in exceptional circumstances.

All items sent to EU destinations from Hilversum should arrive within 30 days of the order. If it is necessary for an item to be delivered by a particular date, this should be made known to us at the time of making the order.

3. Items may generally be returned for a refund in the following situations:

a. within 14 days of receipt, for any reason;

b. at any time, if found not to be genuine.

In either case the customer is responsible for arranging return shipping, including all customs formalities, and for the cost of return shipping. In the case of a dispute as to whether an item so returned is genuine, the opinion of a mutually agreed expert is to be binding.

Please note that a refund under clause 3(a) above is usually only possible for retail customers who have not had the opportunity to inspect the item in person.

Furthermore, for customers resident in jurisdictions with restrictive laws regarding the export of antiquities (e.g. Greece, Italy), the return of some items under clause 3(a) may not be possible, or may require obtaining export licenses.

Full refunds are generally not possible if:

a. an item is returned to us due to failure to pay customs fees or fulfill other import customs requirements;

b. an item is returned damaged (unless it was damaged in transit).

However, a partial refund may be available at our discretion.

If an item is found to be materially not as described more than 14 days after receipt, a full refund on return may be possible at our discretion.

Return of items by third parties is not usually possible.

4. We ship worldwide, except to the following countries: Afghanistan, Belarus, Burundi, Central African Republic, Cuba, DPRK – North Korea, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Myanmar, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen. We also do not ship to some addresses in Ukraine and the occupied Palestinian territories.

Shipping to some countries or some addresses may not be possible at particular times due to courier availability, or may be subject to an additional shipping fee. The availability of shipping to particular countries/addresses may change without notice.

Some items may be unavailable to customers in certain countries due to local laws and regulations.

5. We may require references from other dealers or auction houses for customers new to us, and we may at our discretion refuse to do business with customers who cannot provide adequate references.

6. Payment is usually by wire transfer. We accept most major currencies including but not limited to: EUR, GBP, CHF, and USD, and have domestic bank accounts internationally to avoid international wire fees. There are no payment fees but customers should ensure that any fees charged by their bank are covered by the amount wired.
