AZATHOTH 2 Oz Silver Coin 2000 Francs Cameroon 2027 Antique Finish

This haunting 2 Oz Silver coin is a nightmare given form: Azathoth, the Blind Idiot God. Eyes without mercy. Tentacles without end. At its center, a monstrous circular maw opens like a dark flower, surrounded by writhing creatures that twist into an impossible mass of flesh and vision. Struck in Silver with an ominous Antique Finish and spectacular Ultra-High-Relief, the coin pushes every eye, fold, tooth-like form, and tendril above its shadowed surface. Its organic freeform silhouette and raw textured edge make the piece feel less minted than unearthed. Ancient. Alien. Unknowable. The coin comes in a capsule and box, along with its Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 236 pieces worldwide! The reverse of this Silver coin reveals a grotesque vision of Azathoth. At the center, a circular mouth-like form spreads outward with sharp, petal-shaped projections around a deeply textured core. All around it, serpentine bodies coil and overlap in chaotic Ultra-High-Relief, each carrying staring eyes that emerge from the darkness. Tentacles escape toward the irregular rim, twisting across the field as if the creature can no longer be contained by the metal itself. The deep Antique Finish settles into every recess, intensifying the contrast between polished relief and blackened shadow. No inscriptions interrupt the vision. The obverse expands the nightmare into a cosmic landscape. At the center, a dark circular void is surrounded by radiating, tentacle-like forms spreading across a textured celestial field. Planets and small stars float around them, while a distant jagged landscape rises along the lower section. Below the cosmic composition appears the Coat of Arms of Cameroon. Around the Coat of Arms, the inscriptions: "PAIX", "TRAVAIL", and "PATRIE". Beneath the Coat of Arms, the inscription: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country. At the bottom of the obverse, the inscriptions: "AZATHOTH" - the name of the subject, "THE BLIND IDIOT GOD" - its epithet, "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country, "2 OZ Ag 999" - the weight and fineness of Silver, "2000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value, and "2027" - the year of issue.
