GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Article 1 – Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sale of coins, banknotes, medals and other numismatic items offered by CBNUMISMATIQUE, hereinafter referred to as “the Seller”, through the online shop available via Ma Shops.

Any order placed through the shop constitutes the buyer’s unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

Article 2 – Products

The products offered for sale are described and presented as accurately and precisely as possible.

The photographs are intended to allow the buyer to assess the product. For coins, banknotes and medals, minor differences may exist between the photographs and the product received, particularly due to the conditions under which the photographs were taken and how they are displayed on screen. However, you will receive the exact item shown in the photographs.

Unless otherwise stated in the description, the products offered are collector’s items or numismatic objects and do not constitute an investment guarantee or a promise of future appreciation in value.

Article 3 – Prices

Prices are stated in euros.

The Seller benefits from the French VAT exemption scheme (Franchise en base de TVA). Consequently, VAT is not charged to the customer.

In accordance with Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (Code général des impôts), the following statement applies:

“TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI”

Shipping costs are indicated before the final confirmation of the order.

The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed.

Article 4 – Orders

The buyer selects the products they wish to order and confirms their shopping cart after checking the contents of their order.

Confirmation of the order constitutes acceptance of these GTC, as well as of the price and characteristics of the products ordered.

An order summary is sent to the buyer electronically.

The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of a payment issue, an obvious error concerning the price or description of a product, suspected fraud, or if the product is no longer in stock.

Article 5 – Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods offered in the online shop.

The order is processed once payment has been confirmed and subject to product availability.

Article 6 – Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided by the buyer when placing the order.

The delivery times indicated are estimates and may vary depending on the carrier and the destination.

The Seller shall not be held liable for delays attributable to the carrier.

The buyer is advised to check the condition of the parcel upon receipt and to report any irregularities as soon as possible.

For tracked or registered shipments, the tracking number will be provided to the buyer upon request or directly through the Ma Shops website if a dedicated section is available for this purpose.

Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the regulations applicable to distance selling, the consumer has, subject to statutory exceptions, a period of 14 days from receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to provide any reason.

The buyer must inform the Seller of their decision to withdraw before the expiry of this period.

The products must be returned in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. The direct costs of returning the products shall be borne by the buyer.

The refund will be made in accordance with the conditions and time limits provided for by law.

Article 8 – Statutory Guarantees

The products sold are covered by the applicable statutory guarantees, in particular the statutory guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with French law.

For any request relating to a statutory guarantee, the buyer may contact the Seller using the contact details provided in the legal notice.

Article 9 – Complaints

Any complaint may be sent to the Seller by email at:

The Seller will endeavour to process all complaints as quickly as possible.

Article 10 – Liability

The Seller shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from improper use of the product, use that is not in accordance with its intended purpose, or an event beyond the Seller’s control.

For numismatic items, any information relating to collector value is provided for information purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee of future value or resale price.

Article 11 – Personal Data

Personal data collected when placing an order is used to process the order, arrange payment and delivery, and manage the commercial relationship.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable regulations governing the protection of personal data.

Article 12 – Applicable Law

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute with a consumer, the consumer may, under the conditions provided for by applicable law, make use of a consumer mediation service free of charge.
