This issue with the head of Apollo is referred to as a ‘Restoration issue’. The same types for three mint masters of the Gentes Fabia, Servilia and Caecilia exist with the Roma head in 127 BC.
I do not agree with this and would like to refer to a corresponding article by Andreas Alföldi, which has so far been ignored but not refuted
