The French Euro 2004 BU set is a numismatic collection issued by the Monnaie de Paris. It contains the eight common French Euro circulation coins, ranging from 1 cent to 2 euros. Each coin is struck with Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality, giving them a neat appearance and a particular shine, distinguishing them from standard circulation coins.

The 1 and 2 euro coins display a stylized tree, the work of Joaquim Jimenez, symbolizing life, growth, and the perennity of France, surrounded by the motto "Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité".
